Notes: This is one of the ones that I wrote three years ago, before I re-started these prompts. I kept the original plot of it, but tweaked a few things here and there. A shirtless Seifer adds a certain cheese-factor to this, but he was too hot to resist. Also, towards the end, Zell says "God." I originally had it as "Hyne," but I'm still not sure where I am on this Hyne vs. God debate. There's a scene in-game where Squall says "God dammit" or something or other, and I don't remember them seeing Hyne as an actual god or deity. But I haven't made it that far in my re-playing of the game, so... That's all I have to say about that. Just a head's up.

Well, I guess this also serves as my intro post to the community, so, um... Hi!
I started writing a fic inspired by a combination of the... first page, I guess, of Chapitre 198 and the awesome splash for Chapitre 201, where everyone's a kid, over the weekend, and I've now got the first chapter written. I usually post fiction without a beta, but I wanted to have someone check this over before I post it to make sure that it's relatively easy to understand and that I haven't messed up on any major grammar rules.
Any takers? (oh, and, it's roughly four pages in length, in case anyone was wondering, and is told sort of from Kurogane's point of view).

1. Has anyone ever written, like, a novel adaptation of FF8? I've been pondering on maybe reading one. If so, would you mind linking me over?

2. Has anyone written save points into a fic? For example, we write in potions, magic, and GF with our different interpretations, but I'm curious as to how someone could explain a save point mid fic. Again, a link would be nice. :]

3. You see my icon? *points* The CGI of Zell from the scene as they were leaving Dollett? Well, do y'all know where I can a picture for it, or better yet, screencaps from that scene? I've googled it and keep coming up empty-handed. That CGI is my favorite of Zell, and I'd really like, y'know, to have my hands on it. Maybe in desktop wallpaper form (*coughHINTcough*), but I'm taking baby-steps here.
